"another lovely stay "        A.J. Aug 2007

The first of the cottages, built in 1890, is situated on the mill stream with a raised balcony that has views of the mill stream and river.  It has two floors. On the ground floor the gite has a fitted kitchen  with all the bits and bobs you need should you decide to do some serious cooking and a comfortable lounge with wood burner (for winter use) .

The lounge of the Berry has got a      selection of books and if there's not one you like we've got another couple of hundred available! There is also a set of boules, cd/radio, Scrabble, playing cards, maps of the area etc.
French doors lead out onto the balcony. This has garden furniture and a bbq and is a lovely place for relaxing and trying to spot the kingfisher.

Part of the handmade old pine kitchen. We used pine liberated from the mill to make the units. There is a gas cooker, microwave, full sets of pots & pans, dishes, glasses  and a washing machine. There is also a dining table and  4 chairs

The twin room and fitted wardrobes

Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One with a full size double bed made  in the tradition of cabin beds of boats of old  and in the other bedroom two single beds and  fitted wardrobes.
The shower and loo complete the upstairs.
