An unspoiled , quiet part of France with abundant wildlife for visitors to discover - a real gem
A part of France people usually hurtle through on their way to the south or the Dordogne, this area deserves more attention.
It’s an area dominated by rivers with the Indre in the north and the Creuse flowing to the south. In between our river Bouzanne meanders through small towns and villages.
Nature lovers will love the area and you don’t need to venture far to find it. Our road is well known for wild orchids and the best time to see them is in May and June.
Our bird list gives you an idea of the number of birds which can be found around the property. You can add more to the list by joining one of the many bird watching trips in the Brenne Natural Park or going to the hides set up on one of the many lakes.
All three cottages have stairs, access to wifi , the millstream and river and our two boats. Paddle up the millstream and you enter a different world
.Feeling more energetic then borrow a couple of our bikes and head off on the converted railway line.We also have fishing gear for the fisherman who just wants to try his hand.
